1st Christmas

Christmas is AMAZING!!! It started with staying up super duper late and going to Midnight Mass at the Basilica…after we got home we all went to bed and when we woke up there were all these presents under our Christmas tree!!! Isabella was so excited that I couldn't help being really excited too. Did I mention that my Uncle Tony and Abuelita where here too :-) I wasn't so into unwrapping the presents, but once they were unwrapped (which my sister helped with) and taken out of the packaging, I loved playing with everything. I must have been a really good boy this year too because I got some awesome presents from Santa and everyone!! Thank you so much!!! Next Christmas I think I might be opening my own presents.

First Ornament

So...there is a tree in our living room...well, we decorated it this afternoon and I got to put my first ornament on the tree, a sock monkey. :-) I'm fascinated by this tree (especially while the lights are on). Do you think mama and dada will mind if a pull it down??

Thanksgiving

Yesterday was my first Thanksgiving. I got to eat sweet potato and cranberry sauce :-) Mamaw also feed me some wipped cream...

A Mummy of a Halloween

Wow...Halloween...I wasn't sure about letting mama put me in what she was calling my costume, but you know, it was actually pretty warm and cozy. We went out with one of my sister's friends and walked around from house to house. I'm not sure what Isabella was getting, but I didn't get anything...maybe next year I'll be able to walk with Isabella. It was all so much fun that I needed to take a nap for, well...for most of it.

Cousin Cilla, Aunt Elizabeth, and Uncle Russ came to visit again before they start ending back to Canada. Cilla and I got to play in the creek, hang out at my house, and go to an Asheville Tourist baseball game. She's really quite fun.

Clearwater

This weekend mama, Isabella, and I went to visit Uncle Tony and Abuelita in Clearwater. It was my first time on an airplane. While we were down there we celebrated Abuelita's Birthday, spent an afternoon at the beach, went swimming in the pool, walked around the zoo, and hung out at Uncle's new apartment :-) I was having so much fun I didn't even want to sleep! No really, I didn't want to sleep...I can't wait to go back :-)

Yesterday mama and dada gave me real food for the first time ever!! I just have to say...it was strange. I thought I'd really like it, but I don't know...maybe it just takes some getting used to.

Go Tourist

:ast night we went to my first Asheville Tourist Baseball game. Mama won tickets from the local radio station so we packed up and headed out at what is normally my sister's and my bed time. At first I wasn't too happy because it was "loud" but then I relaxed and had a good time...in fact I was so relaxed that I fell asleep...oops :-)

My Baptism

I went on my first road trip to Abuelita's house on Easter weekend. During mass on Easter Sunday mama and daddy put me in this white suit and kept saying that I was going to be baptised. We were sitting there at mass and well...I fell asleep, but then we got up and moved over to the fountain (this is where I started to pay attention), the priest said a couple of things and then mama moved me around a bit then before I new it Fr. Rob was pouring warm water on my head. Well it was actually quite nice and I didn't cry or anything :-) Everyone seemed quite impressed by this. Afterward I fell right back to sleep and well I don't actually know what happened next because I was sleeping.

Ready To Dive In

My sister is on spring break and Mom decided that since we couldn't go to the beach this year we would go to the indoor pool. This was my first time "swimming" and I really enjoyed it (and by that I mean I didn't scream and cry when I got in the water) I'm looking forward to more pool time this summer :-)

Little Brother

So far being a little brother has been a lot of fun. My big sister, Isabella, gives me lots of kisses and hugs and watches and playes with me when mama has to get something done.

2 Months Old

Wow I can't believe that I'm already 2 months old!! Everything has been fantastic so far. I LOVE watching my big sister do all sorts of things around me. My mama, daddy, and Isabella went with me to the pediatrician today. At first everything was going well. They took my temperature, then weighed me, then got my length...the doctor came in and checked me out...but then some lady gave me TWO shots...well, I cried, but not for long. The doctor said that I am in the 90th percentile for both height and weight. I am 24 inches long and 13lb 10oz :-) Mama says I'm following in my sister's footsteps.

1 Month Old

I am officially 1 month old!! We all went out to Coldstone to celebrate. I can't wait until I actually get to eat ice cream.
